“Metal Project”

Exhibition with works from 5 Metalsmiths from London.

“We are a group of five metalsmiths from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Living and working in London, we share the language of metal and a love of making objects. All of our practices explore hollow forms through the lens of our own personal heritage and the particularity of our own making.

We exhibited together for the first time in 2017 and since then have exhibited in Switzerland, London and the USA. This is the first time we will be exhibiting in Denmark as a group of five artists and we hope to convey our different approaches to and experiences of life through the forms that we make.

We work in a mixture of base and precious metals including brasses, copper, steel, silver and gold. Some metals are left in their natural states and some are patinated or colored giving a wider range of appearances for these metals. All of our work is original, designed and made by us in our various London studios.”
