“I produce ornaments and vessels using hammering and chasing techniques, and my works are inspired from plants, with particular focus on forms of seeds and fruits. Hammering is a very simple and somewhat meditative repetition of the act of beating the metal sheet to create undulation, convex and concave. I intend to produce works awakening people’s primitive memories by integrating my every hammer beat with the form of seed or fruit generating and sustain life during the long production process.”
